FLASH/WEB Developer

Vuepoint is seeking a Flash Developer to build interactive websites on top of its proprietary technology platform. These websites will serve clients, designers, and project managers, literally revolutionizing the way design services are delivered to clients.

Responsibilities

Applicant must have demonstrated ability to build interactive web front ends in Flash (JSP would be nice, too), integrating with java servlets and php on the back end. Position requires working in a team environment with minimum direction and very tight dead lines. Applicant must therefore have very good interpersonal skills, excellent problem solving skills, good written and verbal communication skills, ability to work without supervision. Applicant must have a substantial list of Sites that he or she has authored or to which he or she has contributed substantially.

Job Requirements

• Experience delivering Macromedia Flash applications integrated with back end java servlets and php scripts.
  
• Experience building dynamic, interactive web applications with object-oriented ActionScript coding in Flash, including: functions, arrays, prototyping, movie clips, sending and loading XML, global variables, coding in multiple levels, etc..
  
• Experience with the SQL language and MySQL and SQL Server.
  
• Code sharing experience with other developers, using a code versioning system (CVS preferred).
  
• High skill level in HTML, Javascript, JSP, and PHP, including writing to and reading from a database.
